The IMP connectors have been designed to replace two or three RF connectors through a single board-to-board connection. They are considered as the most cost effective solution: millions pieces have been used in 3mm board-to-board applications. The new 2mm version allows incredible vertical mounting tolerances with a 20% height variation from nominal 2mm. The size of this IMP connector is only 4.9x2.7mm X 13.25 mm² - for a weight of 0.02g . They are reliable and easy to use in pick and place process.
The IMP product range has been developed for a wide variety of wireless applications including 900 and 1900 MHz mobile phones as well as WLAN, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth devices like nomad computing device using either IEEE 802.11a, b or g.
